We appreciate your interest in West Bay Christian Academy and want you to have all the facts so that you can make the very important decision regarding your child’s education.  Be sure to thoroughly investigate this site to answer your questions and know your calls and e-mails to the Admissions Office are always welcomed.  We want you to learn why the West Bay community is so special.

When selecting a school, there are many factors to consider.  Why would a parent choose a private school over the local public school when there is tuition involved?  Our tuition and fees are reasonable, the lowest

of any Independent School of Rhode Island (ISARI) member.  For the 2008-09 academic year, the investment in a West Bay education will be less than $36 dollars a day.  We realize that this still is a hardship for many families, and that is why we have an active financial assistance program.

Teacher quality is paramount to an exceptional educational program.  The faculty members at West Bay Christian Academy are selected for their commitment to Christian education and their dedication to professional development on their field of expertise.  All have undergraduate teaching degrees, with many having their Masters degree.  Every teacher holds certification, and has met the Rhode Island state approval standards.  Creativity, commitment, and a true love for the students of West Bay Christian Academy and their families describe this dedicated group.

The personal attention each child receives because of West Bay’s small class sizes is extremely important to parents when they are making a schooling decision.  The smaller classes allows the teachers to be responsive to each student’s needs and to nurture the student, empowering them with the skills they need to succeed intellectually, socially, and morally, so that the child will become a future community leader.
