The WBCA defense, anchored by Victoria at the sweeper position, gave up only one goal last week and has only given up 8 goals in 5 games. Victoria not only covers the middle but overlaps well to both her left and right and last week took a hard shot to the stomach to stop an attack late in the game. Victoria is an inspiration at practice and a role model for other players.
