Parent Volunteer Body
The PVB is the organization responsible for promoting communication between home and school and for encouraging support for WBCA. The PVB meets once a month and is open to all parents, teachers, and staff members. Our meeting dates and times are posted on the school calendar along with our event dates and times.
Families at WBCA are required to provide 20 service hours each year. PVB coordinates the volunteer support for the school so each parent can actively participate in the growth and development of WBCA to fulfill these hours.
PVB also coordinators monthly family events which include, Game/Ice Cream Social night, Muffins ‘n Mazes, Movie Night, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son event, and Field Day. We also provide monthly teacher luncheons with each grade, K-8, hosting a luncheon to show their appreciation and support for all that our teachers’ do for the Academy.
