A Concept-Based Curriculum
The WBCA curriculum uses broad conceptual statements at each grade to form the framework for each year’s study. Teachers present thematic units that engage students and provide diverse opportunities for them to interact with the curriculum material. These conceptual statements form the superstructure of the curriculum design, which is reinforced with Biblical principles.

Differentiated Instruction ensures that our academic program meets students’ unique learning needs and style. Our goal is for students to know how they learn best and use that information to meet learning objectives and reach their educational potential.
This approach helps students learn their unique skill sets and teaches them how to transfer their learning style into a mainstream academic environment (ie, high school). To learn more about the importance of differentiated instruction at West Bay, please reach out to our Principal and Lead Middle School Teacher, Coleen Principato.
“While many elementary and middle schools merely provide their students with the tools needed to excel academically, West Bay Christian Academy provided me with sound spiritual instruction that prepared me to lead my life in accordance to one of Jesus Christ’s greatest commandments: Love one another.”
